Jennifer is actively seeking new clients and submissions in the following areas:
literary fiction, commercial fiction, upmarket fiction, mature Young Adult, New Adult, graphic novels, memoir, narrative fiction, narrative non-fiction, and commercial non-fiction (particularly biography, current affairs, medical, history, pop-culture, psychology).
If your manuscript does not neatly fit into any of the above categories, it will be considered if there is a compelling story and strong narrative voice. Jennifer is particularly drawn to stories that are honest and writers that are vulnerable and willing to take emotional risks in their work. Some of Jennifer’s favorite memoirs include The Unwanted by Kien Nguyen, Catfish and Mandala by Andrew X. Pham, and The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion, among many others.
Currently, Jennifer is NOT interested in science fiction, horror, or thriller, unless there is cross-over appeal.
How to Query:
1. Send a query letter, no longer than two pages, briefly summarizing your manuscript and how it shows promise in the marketplace. Also include the first 50 pages of your manuscript. I accept Word documents and PDF’s. You may have to compress your file if it is more than 30,000 KB.

If you would like the manuscript returned, please include a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) with adequate postage. Manuscripts submitted without a SASE will not be returned.
